Orchestra Classes:
Our school teaches 5th and 6th grade orchestra in a group setting with violin, viola, cello and double bass. Orchestra meets twice a week on Wednesdays and Fridays for 45 minutes. Meet The Teacher:
Mrs. Emily Humphreys has been teaching elementary orchestra in Clovis Unified since 2016. She teaches at 4 elementary schools. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance, emphasis on the Double Bass, and a Master of Arts in Music Education from Fresno State University. In 2025, Mrs. Humphreys was recognized in Sacramento by the California Music Educators Association as the Elementary Music Specialist of the Year. She is married to another music teacher and double bass player.
