Digital Citizenship Lessons

September 29, 2017 at 12:06 AM

Every September, students in 2nd – 6th grade learn about digital citizenship.  Digital citizenship teaches our community how to use technology appropriately.  Digital citizenship is more than just a teaching tool; it is a way to prepare students/technology users for a society full of technology.  Digital citizenship is the norms of appropriate and responsible technology use.  Too often we are seeing students, as well as adults, abusing technology but not sure what to do.  Students at Gettysburg received multiple lessons during the month of September to help them learn appropriate technology usage.  If you would like to learn more about this subject, please feel free to visit:

Below is a link to a Family Media Agreement.  This is a great conversation starter as a family to start incorporating digital citizenship in your home.
